Kassát hallgatni jó :) - Listening to Kassa

A NO DISTANCE. NO CONTACT. interaktív hanginstallációval ezúttal Kassára érkeztünk. Két fős alakulatunk 2 napja vadássza és rögzíti a hangokat városszerte, hogy a szombaton este 7-re, a Fehér Éjszakán (http://www.biela-noc.sk/hu) történő bemutatóig megújult formában, és ezúttal fedett térben álljon össze a performansz, a helyi sajátosságokra adaptálva.

Útközben találtunk félig lebontott csarnokot, konyhás néniket és liftes bácsikat, és sok egyebet, mi szemnek s fülnek ingere....

Ma este pedig a Kino Usmevben a Pecha Kuchán is bemutatkozik a Szövi és a projekt!! Utána 3 fősre bővül a csapat, és úgy készülünk tovább a holnap éjszakai projektre.

Our interactive installation NO DISTANCE. NO CONTACT. has arrived to Kosice. The 2 of us are looking for and recording the sounds of the city since Wednesday in order to adapt the project for the new scene. The performance will be presented in a completely new way of operation on Saturday between 7 pm and midnight as a part of the one-night long festival 'White Night' (Biela Noc - http://www.biela-noc.sk/hu) here in Kosice.

Along our way we have found for example a partly unbuilt factory hall, have heard the noises of a canteen kitchen and of the elevator of a panel reconstruction, and we met more exiting things to see and to hear..

Moreover tonight we have the opportunity to introduce the project on the Pecha Kucha night in Kino Umsev. After that arrives the 3rd member of the Szövi Kosice group, and on Saturdíy the three of us will prepare the stuff for the night operítion, this time in an indoor industrial space.
